Revenge is a Dish Best Served Cold

Revenge may take days, weeks, or months, but seizing the opportune moment is priceless.

I had this story in mind for awhile and had originally only wanted to do a short one panel caption like I usually do, but once I started writing it, the ideas just started flowing and flowing and becoming more and more devious until I ended up with almost a short story. I started with a general impersonation and revenge theme but as I went on, I gradually incorporated the wedding and then more of a back story to it. The last panel detailing his adventures post wedding was sort of a spontaneous ad on to the story, I wanted to give the story a more final conclusion. This is definitely one of my favorite captions that I've written thus far. I hope you'll enjoy this as much as I did! Please leave me some comments (you can do so anonymously) or please hit one or more of the quick reaction boxes below the post! I really appreciate any feedback!

  1. This is a wonderful story, Kendall! It develops at the perfect pace, moving quickly enough to get through a longer plot, but slowing down enough to get all the sexy, enjoyable scenes. Definitely the best series I've seen in a long time

    1. Thank you for your lovely comment! I was afraid that it might be a bit too long winded but I had so much that I wanted to incorporate into the story so I'm glad you found it to be progressing at a good pace! I'm flattered that you find this to be one of the best series you've seen in some time :)

  2. I never finish a visit to your site without re-reading this captioned story. It is definitely one of my favorites of your work. First, because it involves ID theft. Second, because the method is disguise rather shapeshifting or bodyswapping, a style of impersonation that implies practice and dedication by the protagonist. Third, because the impersonation is ongoing, not simply a "one night stand." There's something deliciously dark and kinky when an impostor develops emotionally and morally into the very type of person that initially wronged him/her. Originally I was rooting for "Chelsea" to stay with Sergio (an ironic twist in that "she" would love the very man who helped wreck his love life) but I think the ending is really more in keeping with what the real Chelsea would have ultimately done. Again, a great read every time. -- EvaGrubbFan.

    1. Hey EvaGrubbFan! I apologize for my much delayed reply, but thank you so much for your kind words! It means a lot to me that you put so much thought and detail into your comment to let me know what you enjoyed about it, so thank you so much! This is certainly one of my personal favorites as well for the same reasons. Thank you again!
